Bulletins PDF Print E-mail

If you notice any Sunday Bulletin has not been uploaded ... please let us know!

The easiest way for us to provide these bulletins is to use PDF files (Portable Document Format). Please refer to the original paper versions of these bulletins if you need to access individual's home phone numbers, or any financial information that may have been included in these documents.

click here for a list of bulletins...

Do you use a feed reader? Here's the list of bulletins as an RSS feed RSS Feed Icon.

All you need to read PDF files is the Acrobat Reader software. The "reader" is already installed on many computers. It's also available as a free download from Adobe (skip the option that Adobe provides to also download any additional software/toolsbars, all you really need is the "reader" software).

About Us PDF Print E-mail

Almonte United Church is a congregation of the United Church of Canada.

In addition to the mission statement already on this Web Site, we have an active Religious Education program, four Choirs and we use a Council System of governance. Much of the Religious Education program for young people occurs while adults are engaged with the Sunday morning worship. Periodic adult programs are offered throughout the year. Our four choirs include a Senior Choir, a Youth Choir (ages 13 to 18), a Songbirds Choir (ages 7 to 12) & Cherubs (ages 3 to 6). The Council is comprised of representatives of our nine committees or boards including the Auld Kirk Cemetery Board. Our faith perspective motivates us to strongly support social action and outreach through ventures such as the Canadian Foodgrains Bank ,the Likulezi Project in Malawi, and our own Trust in Action Funding...

We are eager to be supportive of similarly minded events and programs in our community which includes offering our building for use to a number of non-profit organizations and projects.

Greening Initiatives
~ Our Vision ~
Almonte United Church is a green community that leads by example and is a voice to educate ourselves and others in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the use of resources at church, at home, in the community and in our workplaces.  We seek to understand and live every day in a way that respects the interdependence we have on the Earth and its web of life.
~ Our Mandate ~
Aware of the importance of our stewardship of the earth, the Green Team’s mandate is to raise awareness, educate and promote action to help Almonte United and its members and friends to become better stewards of the Earth, as part of Faith in Action.
~ Who We Are ~
The Green Team is a dedicated group of people at Almonte United who are working to help Almonte United to reduce it’s carbon footprint on the Earth and so to care for God’s amazing creation. If you want to get involved, we welcome you to join Trish Larkin, Ron Williamson, Bill Treusch, Brian Morrison and John Peters.  We also welcome comments, suggestions and questions -- contact us This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
